Promo on DRM Digital Radio transmission in Konkani language of Akashvani Panaji was released by Shri Sunil Bhatia, Deputy Director General (E) and Head of the Office of Panaji Cluster at HPT Akashvani Panaji on August 15, 2024 i.e on the occasion of 78th Independence Day.
Recently, Akashvani Panaji conducted model awareness campaigns on DRM Digital Radio in the state of Goa to create awareness and provide a physical demo of DRM Digital Radio to all target groups in various infotainment systems. These campaigns were aimed at car owners, sales managers, sales executives, relationship managers, and car showroom staff in the state of Goa. Based on these awareness campaigns, Konkani language video promo was prepared for the public by Dr.Thamminana Krushna Rao, a DRM Digital Radio enthusiast and Shri C.P. Harikumar, Assistant Engineer, HPT Akashvani Panaji, both of whom participated in the campaigns under the supervision of Shri Sunil Bhatia, DDG(E).
The model awareness campaigns were conducted at various showrooms, including Maruti (Arena & Nexa), MG Motors, Toyota, and Mercedes Benz. There are nearly two lakh cars equipped with DRM Digital Radio facilities in the state of Goa.
Based on the sample survey and feedback from the target group, a promo on DRM Digital Radio awareness in Konkani was prepared and released on the occasion of 78th Independence Day.
