Voice of Russia on 7340 kHz from Irkutsk

Now audible here in Russian at 1530 UTC.
I can listen to the transmission now with 15 dB (SNR), and my notebook AC adaptor is running and transmitting loud HF noise...! And a few drop-outs only! Good job, folks in Irkutsk!

Terrible audio quality during the russian part, nothing decoded in english at higher bitrate, AM interference on frequency most of the time.

7340 kHz from Irkutsk in Japan 20th Dec. 2010

Voice_of_Russia without plasma TV QRM, but the signal is too weak because the target is totally outside my area. Again a very short log, not worth uploading. Sometimes some broken audio was noted. Here is a title shot:

A weak signal here in Japan. The plasma TV QRM probably did not improve anything either.

This must be perfect frequency planning at its best: Now at 1200 UTC Voice Of Russia is on 7340 in AM in Japanese. DRM to Asia from Irkutsk???

I believe the Irkutsk DRM transmission is actually on 9445.

It's directed to India so could be hard to receive in Japan anyway...

China in AM 5 kHz down is blocking 9445 completely. Thank you, China.
