Surprisingly good results today, a delayed start, correct configuration.

I was late, so only the last minutes.
Audio was stuttering sometimes.
Decoding was best with time sync tracking on first peak.

A weaker signal in the first half, perfect decoding in the second half but several audio breaks.

Not so good in the first half, mostly due to heavy thunderstorms in my area, results improved in the second half, some audio feed problems again.

Bad results today, only a few minutes when audio decoding was possible.

I thought this was bad, but it is not the target area. 15 MHz is a pain in the neck with the Elektor - I noticed that in Japan too. Some squirts of audio blasted out of my speakers anyway. Btw, I think this is the first log for this QRG.

Earlier the listings of stations used to show up the coverage area in a map/
where do i find these for the new stations like the disco palace beaming towards India on 15775.
I am of the opinion, that the beam is facing New Delhi, our capital and far south in Hyderabad, the signal is neither present nor too weak. perhaps a signal map would help.

Sarma Ji,
I'm also having the same concern. I can tune here in Singapore with 28dB SNR !!?? and the beam line to France to Singapore, and it via Hyderabad, so why you cant rcv or no signal?? strange...

my youtube clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ykiFfQpTYQ

Hi Sarma,

I ran the transmission parameters through the VOACAP area program, and the result is attached.

A lot of fading plus an fsk signal on frequency and then the propagation was suddenly gone:
