Perfect conditions, better audio due to a higher bitrate, and near 100% CDA.

In the beginning there were two audio channels running at the same time. Some traditional music and the news together. Then it became worse with two different music pieces running. Otherwise good.

This is a log of the whole transmission. It was unattended except fot the last hour. Quite a good result if it hadn't been for the AM co-channel interference (at least around 2130 UTC).

Difficult for audio.

This is the first time I've seen "aac+" instead of "AAC+" (capital letters) in DReaM ... ?

A try with my National RF-B60 inside the house with its telescopic antenna and a new 12 kHz mixer. Not very successful inside the house. Then I put the radio outside and flung 8 metres of wire over the roof and clamped it to the telescopic antenna with a clothes pin. A big improvement. But the power supply to my ACER laptop makes reception impossible....

The log ended when the battery died

Look for details on my home page for more details. (soon). The RF-B60 is a very good little receiver, with excellent selectiviy and it can be connected to an external antenna without IMD, overload etc. problems. Seems like the Matsushita people in Yokohama put in some effort here. This makes the Kchibo KK-DRM 01 a looser of the 1st degree....

Another try with the National RF-B60, but with the antenna outside and away from the laptop. Now all three components (radio, mixer and laptop) run on 230 VAC adapters. Although the propagation conditions are miserable, AIR did fairly well anyway.

Same receiver setup as on the 1st Nov. Today was a bit better than my last log. Sometimes the CIR was rather undefined and this caused some interruptions. Nice programme with interesting music.

Hi all,

one hour log with 19,98 Kb and AAC.
Some mixed problems today. 1900 until 1930 UTC strong AM from 5 up. Some tx-dropouts (?) also. Minor local electrical interference and a little bit trouble with the notebook here .
Overall result was a good audio ( limited to 6 KHz audio-bandwidth) and stable signal around S7-9 on S-Meter.

Very good and constant signal on 2 x 20m outdoor dipol today ( 9+20 db on S-Meter). The afterwork log starts later today, therefore also a clear rf-spectrum here too. ( 2 dropouts by my pc). Poor audio with 3khz bandwidth..............
