Something happened around 2215, otherwise the reception was perfect.

I started the logging a bit too late. 99.99% decoded audio in this 267 minutes long log. The SNR was higher with a max. of 26.13 dB at 22:27 UTC.

Hi,

As a change I made the logging with both Dream and DRM SW Radio. There are a couple of interesting observations.
Total listening time was 61 minutes, 19:44-20:45 UTC, which provided excellent reception. Luckily I was listening to the Music channel, which gave many nice Indian tunes!
I wonder why there is a dip in the Dream logging, at 20:20 and 20:43 which is not shown in the DRM SW-log?
CDA 99.5 % with SNR 17.1 dB 98.5 % with SNR 16.0 dB.

Hi,

An other interesting evening, with two logging's at the same time, while listening to some great music on the Music channel.
Time: 18:27-20:01 UTC.
Result: 89 % CDA with DRM SW Radio and 98 % with Dream!?

Tuned in 20.15 to 22.33. Over 99% decoded. BTW the station guide in Dream has stopped updating-hence the wrong frequency info on the Calc display. Anyone coma across this before?

@Mikey: Did you add this to the DRMSchedule.ini file?

StartStopTimeUTC=1745-2230
Days[SMTWTFS]=1111111
Frequency=7550
Target=UK & Western Europe
Power=500
Programme=AIR
Language=English, Hindi
Site=Bangalore
Country=India

Last night the reception was perfect. The SNR peaked just under 25 dB. The log is 262 minutes until the end of the transmission.

Hi Digger,
not to my knowledge. I assumed that updating the station guide on dream would do that. Clearly not. I know it worked up until relatively recently because it has the correct schedule for BBCWS on 3955. But it has not data at all on 7550. I will try and search for this file later and try that.
Thanks for the tip

Hm, you're right... if you update the list the local file is simply replaced with the downloaded file... That means if you made any amendments locally they will be lost.

Another perfect log from last night (8th July). The log covers the whole transmission that started a bit early.

Yesterday to my surprise I found five paper QSL cards in my letterbox from AIR regarding this transmission, one with a picture of the Broadcasting House and another with antenna feeders and antenna towers.

Hi,

@ John and Neil.
You asked why I had such a bad result compared to Terje. I think I've found the reason.
Take a look at these results. I've used one receiver, one computer, but two software; Dream and DRM SWR Radio.
Time: 19:53-20:45 UTC.
With dream I had 97 % CDA and with DRM SW just 59% CDA!!
I've analyzed both results with Log-Plot and they are identical.

99.88% decoded audio with the Dream 1.6.1cvs and 99.44% CDA with the DRM SWR. Need to compare another, less stable transmission for the next test between the two softwares.
