Radio Andernach on various frequencies

"Radio Andernach" of German Bundeswehr (soldier's radio-station) is on air on 6015 kHz now at 1828 UTC. Just a short announcement about DRM which is to be implemented on ships of the navy.

Edit: log added, please note that the antenna was a simple long-wire and not the Delta-Loop.

The transmission was over at 1830 UTC (the forum clock was ahead, again) and it seems like the tests are over. Please see also my log in the first post.

Radio Andernach announces DRM will be used from now on daily for two hours via Nauen to serve the "Niedersachsen" frigate. dx-unlimited.de reports 5995 kHz was used with conditional access. Radio Andernach is not allowed to be audible to the German public because the Military / Government cannot be a broadcaster due to German broadcasting law. So probably we may not hear anything from them on DRM.

More information (in German) is available here

or at http://www.radio-andernach.bundeswehr.de/. They used to open their online-livestream around Christmas to everyone so if they do it that way this year again, this is the only chance to listen to them.

Now (1209 UTC) on 5995 kHz.
D-Radio-News is a Journaline service by public service Deutschlandradio and is free to receive while "Radio Andernach" is proteced with CA. Seems like their Journaline content is not available for us, either.

Edit: The Radio Andernach Journaline service just seems to direct to the D-Radio content.

It is now (1135 UTC) on 13590 kHz with co-channel AM QRM. Journaline crashed with Dream 1.6.1 but works with 1.14.

Enclosed is a short log with Dream 1.6.1 and a second log with 1.14 which is not much longer, because that Dream version hung up the computer. As the second log was unattended, I don't know when the transmission ended.

Radio Andernach on various frequencies

Hi
I came across this DRM transmission
As it was a spurious on a bad receiver I have no idea of the frequency.
.Probably some sporadic E is involved as I received BitExpress at that time.
As I don"t speak german this web page was of little help to mr :
http://www.militarypolice.de/2012/05...als-webstream/

Beware it is a military station you might get sentenced 200 years in jail for just thinking of
receiving it
PS; Sorry double post please continue here:

Traces of signal here in Stockholm at 1255 UTC. They seem to use a variety of frequencies...

Now at 13585 kHz. SNR is from 0 to 17 dB here in Minsk. Two streams: audio mono 0 kbps and data. Very strange signal, SNR for example - 4 dB, and MER is 12 dB

Edit: or 13590?

Back on 13590 kHz this afternoon. Good signal until 1315 UTC, then the signal faded out more or less.

BTW, reading the Journaline on the DR111 is rather complicated!!
