The signal just disappeared, and now at 2015 UTC there is AM on the channel. I'll let the log run untill 2230 UTC and see what happens.

Much later: Well, nothing happened!

Here too.
And it sounds worse than the highly compressed DRM of the past fewdays

Let's wait for the official reply... I think they experienced a problem with their content server last night.

Yes let's hope it's something like that, I was quite enjoying playing around with the different modes. Typical it should go off just as I got your DRM Log Plotter program installed and working here Terje!

Nice piece of software, and a very nice website too.

Hi Alan and all,

Good, thanks. And bad, no transmission tonight either. I hope the Spectrum Manager comments on my e-mails tomorrow, Monday.

AIR is back in DRM again this evening. I would have noticed that earlier if I hadn't been sat there with my radio tuned to 7750 instead of 7550, Duh!

A mostly unattended log for 255 mins, mixed results, (the 1st plot with both SWs).

289 minutes of perfect reception

I tuned in around 1740 UTC last night (12th May) and the Test Music channel was already playing music. The signal strength is more or less the same every evening.

The DRM configuration was the same last night as the last few transmissions.
The mode is very robust. Including the dip in the SNR around 2130 UTC (for
unknown reasons) the total decoded audio for the 4 h 49 min log was 99.4%
which can be considered perfect. The screenshot of my log is enclosed.

However, I would think it could be interesting to try a *slightly* higher
bitrate and perhaps try AAC+ in order to see what difference it makes on the
reception over here.

Another 289 minutes of perfect reception

The DRM configuration was the same last night as the last few transmissions.
The mode is very robust. Including the dip in the SNR around 2020 UTC (was it because of the influence of a C9.2 solar flare that peaked around 1818 UTC?) the total decoded audio for the 4 h 49 min log was 99.58%
which can be considered perfect. The max. SNR was 28.58 dB at 2109 UTC.
