Unfortunately, I had something to do and did not start logging until 1751 UTC.
12030 kHz: Strong signal, max 22.81 dB max. SNR and 95.58% decoded audio including two TX failures during my 4 minutes log. A rather good frequency for DRM.

9680 kHz: Miserable reception because of Saudi prayers -5 kHz and Chinese splatter +5 kHz. A 13 minutes log with 8.04 dB max. SNR and 8.23% decoded audio. This frequency is completely useless for DRM. Too much adjacent QRM.

The audio level is about 30 dB too high and this causes severe distortion (as I have mentioned twice in the past).

Radio Taiwan International Analog & DRM tests on 6th July, 2017

Here the reception results from 12030 kHz and 9860 kHz:

-12030 kHz was very good receivable but the sound was overdrived. For an test transmission very good.
-9860 kHz was much bader and not sound was hearable. Big interference from"both" sides killed the DRM signal here.

See the results in the attachment...

Same here, very good reception on 12030 with around 20db SNR all the way through, but bad splatter from CRI on 9685 made reception of the 9680 kHz transmission very difficult, though it did just about manage to bring up the ID. The audio didn't sound very good for a DRM signal though.

Thanks a lot for the warning about this test broadcast Alokesh.

RTI Tamsui tests on 12030 kHz.

The signal was good but suffered by strong QRM on 12025 Khz.
Over-modulated - clipped audio. Some TX failures noticed.

On the 1st plot, screen shots of DRM mode and label are displayed, max SNR 20dB.

RTI Tamsui tests on 9680 kHz.

Bad frequency choice for my area, two very strong AM TXs on 9680 ± 5 kHz killed DRM, bad results.

Label and mode are the same as on the 12030 kHz test.

RTI DRM on 4th October 2017

Impossible reception on 9680 kHz from 1800-1900 UTC with arabic prayer splatter from 9675 kHz. When there was no modulation on the Arabic station, RTI could just be heard. Actually, there was AM on ±5 kHz. This is impossible when transmitting DRM! And RTI still insists on overdriven audio with severe distortion. Is there nobody there to monitor the transmission?! 1830 UTC: Same situation. Almost no decoding due to splatter from 9675 kHz.

I believe Taiwan's e-mail more than the DRM site. They are on-air just now (18:45 UTC) with the same hopeless parameters as usual = completely distorted and impossible to listen to. And the Arabic station 5 kHz down splatters to high heaven as usual...

Log (for what it's worth) later.
