KTWR DRM (KTWR) towards China, logged for 33 minutes from 1025-1058 UTC. A weak signal around 23-29 dBµV in strength. Max. 12,16 dB SNR and 33,22% decoded audio.

Technical data at the beginning:
Meta data: 11,64 kbps, EEP, aac, Mono, English, Religion, Guam, ID:1003
Technical: Mode B/10, 2s, 4/16 QAM, P:0/0, Audio:1 / Data:0 Timestamp: Yes

The parameters changed during the transmission !

Technical data later:
Meta data: 9,18 kbps, EEP, aac, Mono, English, Religion, Guam, ID:1003
Technical: Mode C/10, 2s, 4/16 QAM, P:0/0, Audio:1 / Data:0 Timestamp: Yes

Audio Spectrum: about 4000 Hz (both modes). Audio quality: Quite OK for spoken contents. Result: Poor to moderate reception in Japan.

Could there have been co-channel QRM? At the end of the transmission decoding became perfect (though there was no audio).

Message from Steve Brunson, KTWR Chief Engineer, Agana, Guam....

Dear DRM Monitors,

One of our three transmitters is currently down. We won’t be able to fit our DRM test to China into the schedule for tonight, 25 September. It’s possible that we won’t be ready for our DRM broadcast to Japan tomorrow night, 26 September. We’ll send an update when there’s news to report.

Thank you for your interest and your great data!
