Hi Cap,

I was perusing the All India Radio (AIR) web site and came aross the following frequency schedules:

http://allindiaradio.gov.in/Services...es/simple.aspx

Two transmissions appear to be missing from your schedule list:

AIR 11645 kHz 2245-0045 UTC
AIR 15185 kHz 0315-0530 UTC

The lack of clarity of DRM broadcasts is one of my biggest bugbears. In theory the DRM Consortium (or at least the HFCC) should have accurate listings, although they are only as good as the broadcasters notifying these organisations of what their frequencies/times are.
Even some broadcasters own websites lack accurate listings, this is completely crazy and we wonder why nobody tunes in.
Normally by the time people find out what frequencies are currently being used, they are nearly into the next season and they are about to be changed again.

I have always pondered why DRM broadcasts don't carry accurate schedules with their transmissions (they are certainly capable of this), a frequency/time/target of broadcasts and maybe even other regional broadcasters schedules.
Another idea is to have a couple of transmissions on suitable night/day frequencies that the DRM consortium could fund to allow receivers to populate a list that listeners could then use on their receivers.
Pie in the sky, I know, but it would be nice.

Funny I suggested to Newstar that a schedule upload from the SD card to the memories would be an idea, CSV format or similar, like the old Sony SW? something had years ago.

Is there any confirmation for RNE transmission on 1359 Khz that apears in green ?
Here;

It is noted inactive.
In day time I only have weak reception of several English AM stations

EVENING BROADCAST (first broadcast): 3.28 pm UTC (GMT): 17500 kHz (16 meterband) in digital modulation (DRM).

Many thanks.

BBC

As richardinprague has found out from Babcock, the BBC only does 1 hour to Europe in the morning now on 3955kHz 0500-0600. Schedule amended to reflect this.
This is probably as a result of the extra hour to SE Asia on 17820kHz between 0900-1000, although Europe have probably lost the other two hours due to cutbacks.
Although I would prefer they kept the other two hours, I do not grudge the shift to SE Asia.
