Talking 29 April log

My first log of MOI Kuwait in perhaps a year. Conditions were excellent tonight, and my short log was quite good.

30 April log

The log is longer tonight, but conditions were not quite as good: the band took somewhat longer to open up.

Probably my best Kuwait log

Max 19.9 SNR and 99.09% audio. I don't mind some of the "call to prayer" stuff, but I sure would appreciate some Arabic popular music and maybe something in English. Beggars can't be choosers, I guess

Nice results the last two nights here, although not quite the same as Fibbers!

The ionosphere wasn't playing nice last night, but the results were still fairly good.

The last hour showed promise, but prior to that, not much.

Only a short period was able to be decoded tonight, but hey, for half way around the world via polar path, this wasn't too bad!

Good results despite a low SNR - I guess that's what a low bit rate will do. The audio didn't sound that bad.

Hi Alan,

Yes indeed, if conditions are good and MOI rolls in out here on the west coast, they don't sound all that bad. Try and get them that good in analog and you'll see what I mean.

My reception wasn't all that good I'm afraid.
