Due to the robust 4-QAM SDC the label is visible with
adapted bandwidth and notch filter at almost no SNR:

An unexpected result in mid of May.
Interfering AM on 6025, 6030, and strong on 6040 kHz.
Teletype on 6032 kHz, no audio when this was on.
Excellent audio quality.

Let me "hamify" it:
At this time of year on that frequency at that distance it is a problem to receive a local broadcast signal, especially a digital coded.
I enjoy if I can receive anything like that on 49m at this time of year.
I got enough audio to classify the sound quality as excellent.
Zipped MP3 sample attached.

Absolutely, many members, including myself occasionally, enjoy attempting the difficult as it's a challenge. Personally, I want to see DRM achieve a more functional role, i.e. turn on the DRM radio and hear or watch relevant content applicable to the listener. As a group, we're getting there albeit slowly. Your receiving environment and equipment are obviously excellent for decoding DRM broadcasts and I enjoy your observations. I'll be listening to your sample of this broadcast. Thanks, Friedrich.
