I suspect that if RNZI had adopted my suggestion in the thread for 13730 kHz on the same date as this particular broadcast on 11690 kHz, the percentage of decoding would have likely dropped to ~ 45% or so. However, the average SNR of this particular log is considerably lower than average for this broadcast so a much larger sample of logs would be necessary for an accurate determination.

Except for a brief drop to a SNR of 14 dB, this particular broadcast would likely have been nearly as reliable using Mode A, MSC of 16 QAM, PL 1, and 17.9 kbps ...

As usual nothing at all in DRM from RNZI for me.
One nice thing with them is the associated AM transmission 11725 in that case.
And each time I tuned to them I could easily understand why DRM doesnt work

The Forum clock is out of order!

I just checked RNZI around 0740 UTC on 11690 kHz in DRM and all I get is some time and frame syncs.

True, the AM signal 35 kHz up tells it all... all flutter.
