receive from kiwiSDR through the web

Just in case anyone want to receive DRM broadcast via the web, I just manage to record this screen shot from kiwiSDR, reception location Greece.

Nice feature from SDR and very good reception quality indeed.

Thumbs up

I don't think this "kiwiSDR" has any relationship to the forum member
Code:
Chris (owdjim)
as you suggested, even though they both are probably from New Zealand.

Anyway, I provide the link to kiwiSDR web page for anyone interested in their web-enabled SDR.

Which SDR in Greece has DRM? There are a number of receivers there. URL for this receiver?

All Kiwi SDRs Ver. 1.4.1 have IQ output.

Here is a log with the Kiwi SDR in Hamburg (DN5HAT). The interruptions in the audio seem to be receiver related. Sometimes an error msg "audio underrun" pops up. If that had not been the case the decoded audio would have been much better.

Just select ANY SDR that is vacant (kiwiSDR has a limit on number of simultaneous loggers for each device). In my case, I just select it randomly (and it happens to be in Greece). I think any receiver in western Europe has good chance of decoding.

DRM via SDR

OK, let me see if I have this right. You are using the SDR audio as your input and then
running it in dream to decode it and the plotter to display it, correct?

Yes, you are almost there. Simply put it: remote receiver, local decoder.

As Digger said, you need good network connection between remote server and your local PC. If there is any IQ data dropped out in real time, you can easily spot out a black "gap" in Dream waterfall graph.

Thanks to you both, I didn't realize that could be done.

For further web SDR decoding please check out message #1065 in the RFI 3965 kHz thread.
