A long but unstable log with a not so convincing result. The max. SNR was 37.16 dB, which happened twice - hi. The signal strength varies a lot here.

Englisch and Russian Audio Service

Hello,

it seems for me, that only Fraunhofer Software version 2.0.38 is really able to give audio in both languages.

In SoDiRa one can only get the first service.

DREAM 14.1 seems not to be able to get sufficient audio.

Who is experienced enough to give more informations?

Greetings

W. Hartmann

Hi,

The Dream 1.6.1cvs plays both channels, but I cannot get the Multimedia. I get an error message: "Error: expected NML Code 0x02, got 0x03"

The DRM S/W Radio also plays both channels, but I cannot get the Multimedia, in "DRM MM viewer": "Failed to create empty document".

The SoDiRa Version: 0.083 seems only possible to listen to the 1st channel.

Only the last 30 minutes of the log were more or less perfect.

Sorry, the Frames in the log is 750, not 1500.

Both good and bad reception. The bad is mainly caused by low signal strength.

About 99.3% CDA today. The best log so far, but shorter than the previous logs.

Some decoding problems around 1055 UTC otherwise almost perfect. Journaline works with Dream 1.13 with Cyrillic and English. But no sound.

Better result today, but a high SNR is needed to get continuous audio. A lot of interruptions in the audio.

Excellent reception of this dual language service from VoR.
I listened to channel 2 (1B) i.e. German. Time: 10:22 - 10:54 UTC. Result: 99.5 % CDA. But the audio quality could definitely be improved. But considering 8.2 kbps, I guess this is what you get.

Also this day excellent reception of VoR.
Was the program a repeat from Oct 15? Same discussion about abortion in Russia.

I traced this TX on 9850 kHz at 12:30, can't decode it due to strong QRM, where is it from and what is the target? it is not scheduled.

Correction
: I found a new schedule update dated 27/4/12... Now it is scheduled
