15645 kHz. The same reception results. It's time to resettle to a countryside :-) Too much noise from 200 kHz to 20 MHz.

Apologies for mistyping the frequency. Also got nothing here at all on 15645.

15645 kHz in Stockholm...

... was nothing to report - as we were completely out of the target area. This transmission on 15645 kHz did not push the S-meter off the S1 mark and the SNR did not go above 4 dB and I did not get a Label. However I saw the ID: 445700.

Anyway you gave the best results today. Your SNR is much more better than anyone else had. Probably not very noisy environment and good antenna did the trick. Congratulations!

Thanks! Suburb of Stockholm, DSL on the phone line (but that is no problem on SW), a noisy Samsung TV (but I pulled the cord from the socket). However the power supply in my PC gives me a headache - it is too noisy for comfort.

My computer running Gqrx automatically recorded this broadcast. On playback with DReaM 2.1, approximately every 15 seconds DReaM would Frame Sync so the signal was definitely present at my location. Pacific islanders should have had little problem receiving the broadcast. I'd like to see more DRM broadcasts from Sri Lanka aimed at SE Asia and the Pacific Ocean.

There were no signs at all of either PCJ signal on my receiver in Tawa, NZ.

Cheers, Chris

Amazing ... When I wrote my comment, I was thinking of a more northeasterly path from Sri Lanka, though. I wonder what antenna was being used. If I find the time ...
