Hi Terje

Do you have a current schedule for AIR? What I have still indicates that broadcast is 1000-1100 UTC, but I can't find any confirmation of DRM frequencies on the AIR website.

Cheers, Chris

Hi Chris,
No, I looked up the frequency in the HFCC list. It says 0945-1100. Their DRM signal is elusive - sometimes I can receive it loud and clear and most of the time there is not a trace to be seen in Dream. And when I receive it, it fades out long before 11 UTC.

Thanks! I see that now. Not in any "DRM" list that I can see though ;-)

I have updated my schedule database with the 0945 start time. Another 15 minutes I won't be able to receive in NZ :-)

Cheers, Chris

I think it is pathetic that not even the DRM consortium bothers to compile a useful list of DRM transmissions!

I forgot about AIR again and started the log too late. All India Radio GOS-I logged for 31 minutes from 1013-1044 UTC. Poor propagation and a very weak signal. Max. 12,72 dB SNR and 0,68% decoded audio. The GOS-I was 10,48 kbps and the RAGAM was 8,72.

Today I remembered, but until 1030 UTC I could see nothing in Dream. Enough for today.

No traces of DRM on 15410 kHz here in Japan from the beginning until 1100 UTC.

Typical! When I thought it was no idea to log AIR and went up to have a look around 1030 UTC I noticed a strong signal. GOS-I logged for 27 minutes from 1033-1100 UTC. Good propagation and a very strong signal. The elusive AIR! Max. 23,72 dB SNR and 93,36% decoded audio.

All India Radio GOS-I logged for 48 minutes from 1011-1100 UTC. Poor propagation and a very weak signal. At the beginning around 0950 UTC there was only a carrier with 1000 Hz AM modulation. Then all of a sudden there was DRM. Max. 10,71 dB SNR and 0,01% decoded audio.
