Last night (12th Aug.), after AIR ended, not heard, not read but seen. Very chaotic and weak signal here around 2235 UTC. The ID in the screen dump is the same as earlier sightings.

The reception was a bit better tonight. The "Echo des Tages" came through quite well and all the contents of Journaline in WAZ Nachrichten were decoded without problems.

18th August

Although I am outside the target area the decoding was very good last night. I got some interesting information on this test transmission by Media & Broadcast aimed to a ship "M/S Bremen" which is underway far North in the Arctic Ocean equipped with a DRM receiver. Among others, NDR gave permisson to use the "Echo des Tages"-Podcast for the first half hour of this transmission. However, nobody knows how long these tests will continue.

Thanks to Mr. M. Pulsmeier at NDR for this info.

It is no fun logging Nauen 9530 kHz here, so I gave up after some minutes.
Propagation is quite difficult, please have a look at the second file. Decoding was possible in this "deep orange" time only. Maybe anybody has an explanation for this unusual propagation?

@Digger: Thanks for your reserch. I contaced NDR too but reached the "wrong" person there.

Echo des Tages

Echo des tages very strong in Portugal. QRG 11.970 Mhz at 20:20 UTC
Perfect reception. No dropouts at all. The low SNR is due the QRM made by home plugs BPL/PLC systems.

Hi,

I saw the label "Echo des Tages" on 11.970 MHz too here yesterday. I suppose this is also coming from Nauen, as reception is almost impossible here.

9655 kHz WAZ Nachrichten

Does anybody else receive that object?
The signal received my friend Vladimir Mikhaevich from Tomsk. Tonight I'll try too

I am in an awkward position to receive Nauen. But my DRM-Plotter succeeded in shooting a screenshot when conditions allowed some decoding.

The log was unattended. Btw, at 1705 there was just an AM station blaring on the frequency...

A very strong signal tonight 20 minutes before close down. Unfortunately, my PC decided to hang up, so I did not get much in the log. Plus that I didn't get enough time to decode the MOT Web Site either.

Was visible here last Friday, first at 1600 UTC with Echo des Tages, later with a data service (no label decoded). Not worth posting the log here.
