A meager 36.66 % CDA today. Even the "best bit" was no good at all.

Ambient Conditions: Unknown as I wasn't planning on posting this log. PC & M2 off, but lithium battery charger on ( 6 dB loss from 0910Z )

Within a week, we're headed for another round of frigid temperatures, i.e. WAY below 0 F. This condition in early February is common in the central USA as increasing sunlight begins to loosen frigid air masses in the arctic. I pity the folks living in the humid eastern and southern parts of the USA.

Only the last hour produced some audio. With Doppler above 1 Hz there is a small chance to get any decoding.

Yep, 8 ferrite clamps in a row on the satellite coax helped a lot, but only in stand-by. Need to rearrange the cables, unfortunately a tricky job...

A brief log of just 5 minutes while the power to this part of the city was lost for nearly 3 hours with a temperature of -20 degrees F. The digital signal was marginal so I switched to the analog broadcast from RNZI on 9765 kHz. Naturally, the DR111 was running from my 18650 battery pack. Thankfully, we use natural gas for heating.

I won't rate this partial log.

RNZI with DPRK splatter and Plasma TV local QRM. And AIR in AM on the same QRG seems to be a problem too here. Logged minutes from 0821-1157 UTC. 62.53% CDA.

Logged from 0809 UTC. At that time heavy splatter from DPRK. Logged 228 minutes from 0809-1156 UTC. 36% CDA. Not very good compared to some years ago.
