9715 kHz VoR RUVR 2A/B

VoR left 9750 kHz and is on 9715 kHz now.
Until now I found this message only in german:
http://german.ruvr.ru/radio_broadcas.../53264174.html

Up to 16:00 UTC there was AM interference from 5 kHz up,
now the signal is clear at 30 dB SNR and more without audio.
Until 16:00 two channels in english and hindi, now one in russian but no audio frames.
SDC indicator is constantly yellow here.#

EDIT:
They are running a very robust mode at very low bitrate.
Although they get out surprisingly good audio I can hear a lot of background mumbling.

Hi Fritz,

I think the datstream is OK, the yellow SDC light is because you are using a version of Dream that works with the old SDC format, although I did not try on this frequency but noticed that on another frequency.

Hi Simone,

I am using my old pc with DReaM 1.12 now as I am modifying my "dropout machine".
Will DReaM 1.13 be ok?

Yep Hindi on one channel and English on the other. Bad reception here. I didn't check in detail as I was working on a "stress-test" of the Plotter when logging.

With me 9715 kHz is much better than 9750 kHz.
They are still setting up everything, so a lot of switching.
Multilanguage seems to be what they are aiming at.
At least two channels, low bitrates, but surprisingly good audio.
Today two more screenshots in Chinese and Urdu.

At least I got some Sanskrit on my screen....
But I switched off at 14:00 "dummerweise" (or was to late... ) whatever.

And: Agree - good audio!

Looks like I'll have to install at least half a dozend more languages on my pc.
I'm lucky, it is a multi language WinXP installation with a lot of additional languages on CDs.

Today I did some tests with the settings of the Virtual Audio Cable software.
Suddenly the resync problem was there, so I had to write a second log with modified settings.
In the late afternoon there are AM station +/-5kHz, but no more ontop.

Bad reception between 15:30 and 17:00 UTC due to interference.
The impulse response showed twins until 17:00 UTC.
Perhaps some tests or different beam direction?

9880kHz

I have also been trying to get this decoded too, although on 9880kHz (1800-2100) and also noticed a high SNR. Been tuning in the past few days and was puzzled why I was not getting a good decode (although both languages visible English/French), tonight I found out why. I tuned down 2kHz (probably due to adjacent interference) and nice clean audio came through. The journaline also started to receive. However that was just before it went off air @ 2100 GMT, although I got a good list of headlines.
Tomorrow we try again....this is starting to become my favourite station on DRM. As far as I know the only one transmitting Journaline? since the BBC/DW transmission stopped?

regards

Cap
