Impossible to be heard due to strong co-channel QRM here too.

Feb. 02 (5875 kHz)

Hi all,

The co-channel QRM stopped at 20:00 so I managed to receive this transmission and submit the results. The signal was always below 40 dBuV and suffered by the splatters of the TX on 5885 kHz. A nearly perfect result though.

Thumbs up DRM to HFCC / Tunis

Thank you Ager, John, Sixten and Terje for sending reports.

I understand that 5875 kHz 19.30 -20.00 UTC is very bad and better (especialy in Greece) during the second part of the transmission (20.00 - 20.59 UTC).

I have currently no info from Tunis regarding actual reception on site from Michel Penneroux or others.

Good night.

Jacques

Thank You John and Sixten.
A few information:
- 11875 kHz will continue today until 1445 UTC,
- 5865 kHz will be used today evening and the other days as 5875 kHz was wrong; somebody hit the wrong key!

Regards.

Jacques

Feb. 03 (11875 kHz)

Hi Jacques and all.

Thanks for info.
Here are the results for the whole transmission. The signal at start-up was about 30 dBuV, then gradually climbed up to 60 dBuV and stayed there. At 13:30 QRM splatters from the TX on 11870 kHz affected the decoding during fading periods and only when the signal was below 40 dBuV, which caused dropouts. Take a look at the graphs.

The two hours from this morning started out weak, but improved all the time up until the end. I am off-target anyway.

The afternoon session was a complete loss.

Now at 19h40m UT on 5865 kHz my receiver doesn't know how to handle what's coming down, so I'll just call it a day.

Feb. 03 (5865 kHz)

Hi all,

DRM transmission started together with an AM TX on 5860 kHz. After the start-up the signal quickly reached up to 60 dBuV. Around 19:50 the signal dropped to 45 dBuV and affected by the QRM from the 5860 kHz TX as well as from the splatters of the 5875 kHz TX. When the 5875 TX switched off (20:00) the results got much better and even better when 5860 TX switched off (20:30).

Hi all,

Here's an unattended noon auto log. Decoding problems due to QRM from the TX on 11870 kHz.
