It is my current understanding that there are two fixed antenna arrays, one beaming 0 deg and the other 285 deg. The 15120 transmitter "can" be switched from one antenna to the other. Although I don't know if the feedline switches are actually in an operable state.

Would be a good thing to ask Bodo about it.

Abuja Antennas

Hi Terje, good to see your first post from Japan! I will see if I can make contact with Bodo via email and get the information first hand!

Hi Neil & Terje,

My information on the antennas came from Bodo two years ago (Terje was copied on it). I don't think they would have physically changed the antenna structures in that time.

Voice of Nigeria 15120 kHz reception near Atlanta, Georgia, USA

This afternoon's reception report - the early SNR peaks at around 1552 are probably DReaM software spurious phantom spikes.

Dec 13th, 2017 log ... I logged very little, but the digital broadcast was present. The maximum SNR was only 4 dB so I decided to destroy the log as it wasn't worth posting. The broadcast appeared late (propagation?) at my location, about 1817Z. Overall, the signal was VERY weak.

Dec 16th, 2017 partial log ...

I've acquired a new laptop with a touch screen (past few laptops have either caught fire or other problems) which is probably excessively noisy *, but I'll try it with my SDR-4+ and DReaM for awhile. I'll likely be purchasing the GR-216 in a few months.

* I wanted a touch screen for use with Rivendell on GNU/Linux when I broadcast LPAM on the MW band.
