99.74% decoded (but no) audio in this 57 minutes long log. The clock is way off (2nd attachment). If there is no audio source available, why not just pull the plug?

Perfect reception, but they seem to have lost the DRM TX manual. No audio at all.

A one and a half minutes TX break around 1830 UTC, otherwise perfect decoding. The TX break did not matter as the absence of audio was total during the whole transmission. The system clock is wrong but the date is still correct...

Or were transmitting with the new codec "xHEAAC" and so there is no decoding of audio?

The label says 9.10 kbps and "aac", the audio is shown as decoded, but there is no audio source connected and all "LED":s in DReaM are green. Probably someone pulled out a cable or forgot to flip a switch.

But this "alleged defect" has been around for several months. No one transmission area have not noticed? nobody monitor what goes to the "air" (TX)?
I did a transmission with SPARK and preconfigured recording codec "xHEAAC" and appears in the Morphy Richards receiver displey exactly the same information, ie "AAC". So I'm believing that Nigeria Voice is transmitting with this new codec.

No Audio on Voice of Nigeria

It does seem so strange that there seems to be no audio on the 15120 kHz transmission from the Voice of Nigeria. I have monitored the transmission on a few occasions and noted no audio when listening on both my Newstar and Morphy Richards radios. It seems such a shame that they are transmitting a strong signal to Europe and looking at the logs there has been no audio for the last 4 months.

I note there is a international summit on Digital Broadcasting in Nigeria at the beginning of May, speakers include someone from Ampegon AG and Simon Spanswick, I wonder if we can contact Simon and ask him to make some enquiries about what is happening with the tranmission.
