Thanks Fritz,
I had it on 7295 with Luxy DRM with the s metre going between 5 & 7 changed to 6095 and 5990 then went back to 7295 spotted the s metre at +10 but an analogue signal turned the volumn up and it was an English guy talking about a ship listened for about 10 mins tryed 6095 again went back to 7295 and the DRM signal was back, all very strange.

Thumbs down

I just don't get it! Still the same problems!
Modulation switches off from time to time, sometimes no sync although signal and impulse are strong and good, plus trouble with the propagation: Sometimes fast and deep fading with impulse going down.
No fun.

...still the same problem!
Loss of modulation every one to three minutes with varying duration for up to a second! Only a carrier stays on then.
No fun, http://www.radioluxembourg.co.uk/# works better!

...still the same problem, modulation dropouts every one to three minutes! Not worth listening.
I wrote to RTL, here the complete answer to my question for the reasons of the modulation dropouts:

Dear Friedrich,
The answer has both technical and economical reasons.
Thank you for your feedback and enjoy listening

Thumbs up GOOD today !!!

Wow! What happened to Luxy?
Only two dropouts/ 22 seconds missing within 169 minutes before conditions went down!
Haven't seen that for a long time! Real pleasure to listen!
Hope this will last!

Well, nothing happened, just good luck yesterday.
More dropouts than ever, useless to try to listen to that programme.
Signal was good today, just about 6 seconds missing every two minutes, no fun.

Surprise in the afternoon

Since this broadcast of Radio Luxemburg is emitted from Nauen I couldn't hardly get any reception. So I was surprised to get this result today.

Signal is definitely coming from an eastern direction. So I guess it's still Nauen on air!?

BUT: Too many dropouts (where at least some of them were Tx related) made listening difficult. After 15:15 conditions went back to normal (i.e. bad), also since 15:30 interference from 7300 kHz, thus I stopped logging.

I wondered why there were no logs the last two weeks - now I know.

Reception is just rubbish - Tx related dropouts every few minutes.

BTW homepage http://www.radioluxembourg.co.uk is still saying they are on air on 7145 kHz ?!.
