Using Dream with KiwiSDR

I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread about the use of Dream with the KiwiSDR.

Many thanks to Terje for producing some information at...

http://hobbyradio.se/en/drm/plotterd...ml#v21_plotter

I have found a useful list of SDRs that includes many KiwiSDRs at http://sdr.hu/

Thanks For This, Perseus, too.

I was able to get it to work with some extra help. Thanks, Terje.

It looks like something similar can be done with the Perseus network
of SDR's http://drm.mediacat-blog.jp/e125262.html

I think you need an actual Perseus receiver which is connected via the internet to a remote receiver server site. There does not appear to be a web based system such as used by KiwiSDR.

Flawed concept until the developers of KiwiSDR start mandating and verifying a minimum standard for network performance. Any SDR on Kiwi's network should be required to meet such a standard and be routinely polled for compliance or be disabled. From my experience, I'd guess that currently over 70% of the KiwiSDRs should be removed.

Now, you know why podcasts are important on the Spynet. LoL Live performance on the Internet just isn't realistic. Dear Lord, please return global sanity so OTA broadcasting can resume its rightful place as the mechanism for global communication, not IP-based networks!
