RNZI 17675 kHz reception near Atlanta, Georgia, USA
The overnight reception - no audio decoded, 8.54 dB max SNR.
A another appearance of the signal after several days absence. Lately 17675 kHz has not been possible to hear, mostly just showing up with SNR values between 0 and 7 dB. Today was an exception: Perfect reception, at least during the last 87 minutes.

Today there was a signal on 17675 kHz. But only the last 20 minutes or so were good enough to produce sound worth listening to.

Not good, but the best I've seen for a long time. Max. 25 dB SNR and almost 60% decoded audio. 89.6% CDA during the last 171 minutes.

Similar conditions compared to yesterday. Max. 24 dB SNR and 54% decoded audio. 86% CDA during the last 200 minutes.

Ambient Conditions: 53 F @ surface, RH 39%, partly overcast, average noise
This result is much better than any other day on this frequency since the middle of October. On the graph, notice the disappearance of the signal which is due to my running ZoneMinder on my HomePlug AV network while away. Without ZoneMinder, the average SNR would be ~ 8-9 dB on this day which is much better than 2 dB before installing the MMD-s31. |
