KTWR test on 12040 kHz

The signal was rather weak in Scandinavia as Mike predicted. No problem to get the label, but that was about all. I wonder if Mitsuru-san could see the slide show pictures in Japan?

No signal at all here in New Zealand. Not even a trace of DRM.

Cheers, Chris

On the DRM Blog from Hiroshi in Japan ( http://drm.mediacat-blog.jp/ ) there is a comment on the KTWR slide show which was an XML file with IDs of different DRM stations.

Today's report is a little bit better than yesterday's. I could hear the sign-on in Japanese and English, but it was not possible to follow the conversation.

Text Message: "You are listening to KTWR Guam. Reception reports may be sent to: Trans World Radio, PO Box 8780, Agat, Guam 96928 or they" (I did not see the "or" bit).

Slightly stronger here in NZ this time - at least I could tell there was a DRM signal on the frequency - but nothing worth logging.

Cheers, Chris
