My highest peak SNR so far.
Taldom is not very lucky in their frequency choice again, a.m. interference from 9685kHz and also on 9690kHz from time to time.
The audio quality is not near fm at all and not adequate to such a good rf signal. Harmonic distortion on the music and sometimes audio level pumping as if there was an audio alc or compressor in use.

                Good rf receiving results.
The audio could be much better, harmonic distortions at higher audio frequencies.

RF signal is good, but the modulation sounds somehow strange.
When listening to music I hear something I can only describe as a pumping wah wah sound on the higher frequencies.

Here is a short zipped MP3 file.
I think the pumping wah-wah on the high pitched sound is audible.

                            Hi all,
bad results this morning, see attachment
The night transmission from Taldom works much better in my location.

                              Hi All

9690 kHz was much stronger than recently here today. The disturbed ionsophere must be bouncing electrons in odd directions ;-)

Still only broken audio, due to strong carrier on 9685 kHz.

No sign at all of any DRM signals in the 49m band here today.

                              Cheers, Chris
