Again 26060 with RAI Radiodue as the first label, Vatican as second, then celp and the fourth service was Journaline. Too much Fading to catch anything but the labels.
Nice Sporadic E today, anyway it was possible to "see" 26060 for over an hour. The audio won't work, it comes through rather chopped. The audio pattern looks like mitajohn's here too.
I was lurking for Sao Paulo on 26040 kHz when I saw a panadapter signal on 26060 kHz.
It was in mode A/ 18 kHz.
The Power SDR software only allows max. 10 kHz bandwidth.
Maybe that was the reason why I could not decode the station's name.
The strange thing is that the station ID E24104 is different from E05202 reported before.
Later I tried the software in spectroscope mode and 48 kHz sampling rate, but then the signal was too weak for decoding.
dear FrizWue yesterday at 15:24:20UTC at Vatican Radio I changed the transmission mode from A/10kHz to A/18kHz for test pourpose. However I can not explain the difference in the programme ID.
I also saw the station ID E24104 today. There was no label (at least I did not get it) and the Mode A / 18 kHz did not produce any audio with Dream. The signal disappeared soon after I started the log.
Hi petecchiaro,
the service ID is correct for Vatican Radio, the other ID that Fritz was refering to was used for one of the other services some time ago (Radiodue).
