Dec 17th, 2017 log which is posted strictly for my future use.

As expected, the touch screen emits quite a bit of noise when on, but most of the time the screen will be off. This broadcast occurred with a "minor" geomagnetic storm in progress. At my location, any "minor" geomagnetic storm majorly affects weak signals at my receiver, especially from eastern longitudes in Europe. This particular atmospheric instability resulted in a planetary K index of 4. Any K index exceeding 2 causes major problems at my location from broadcasts originating in Europe.

Furthermore, this frequency is plagued by interference from Cuba on 5990 kHz. The signal was present throughout the broadcast which I did NOT expect at all under these conditions.
