      Hi,

Was it solar activity that caused a shaky start? Something triggered something at or about 0830 UTC (see the JPG file shot at the beginning of the transmission). Or does Iran continue to transmit in AM in Arabic (?) on 13810 even after 08 UTC? Later it improved and the SNR ratio got better and better.

          Hi,

A shorter log today, but close to perfect. Much closer would be difficult.

..and 5 dB less in Hamburg either.

Also less stable reception at me. While SNR of 35.6 dB is a new personal all-time high for me there were some bad phases.
When watching these I could see signal becoming quite weak and IR changing from one (strong) pulse to two (much weaker) pulses. So I guess I encountered once more a pothole in the ionosphere rather than local disturbance being the reason.

SNR Maximum [dB]: 42.0 (EU bonus)
For me also a new all time high.
Conditions were indeed very unstable, my SNR graph is between 29 and 42 dB.

                      Hi,

The SNR varied between 21.3 and 38.1 here today. 100% CDA. Very good.

Risking to become OT now - Maybe this explains the 5-7 dB less:

                          Hi,

If you would cut out the break for the antenna switching at 0829 UTC, then the CDA would become 100%. A new personal SNR record today : 39.0 dB

I also did some antenna tests at the beginning and found that the signal is more constant if I only use the northern leg of my dipole antenna in L-configuration.
Two logs today with a formula 1 race in between.
After the antenna tests both logs show the same max. 41.6 dB SNR and 100% CDA.

                                Hi,

A rather shaky start this morning before the break at 0828 UTC. The rest was very good.
