While writing the report for the nighttime reception, RTL started at 7 UT. The first 90 minutes or so were quite stable, but then the signal strength decreased from S9+20 dB to S6-S7, in this case from 56 dBuV to about 30 dBuV.

A completely different result during the night until Friday. Lower SNR and very jumpy. When you look at the ionograms and the space weather, the conditions do not look very promising for the time being.

I got 1440 well today - don't often listen on the MR radio - I noticed the bit rate has gone up to 23kbps thopugh so sounding very good via the hi-fi, how long has the better bit rate been applied ? Shame it drops to 18 after midnight...

Full time service when there is no thunderstorm. The only problem here in the rural region are the farmer's electric fences with noise pulses on long and mediumwave. The first minutes until the little dip were logged without noiseblanker with more deviation in SNR.

Started with both inverted Ls in T-configuration. Sometime after 15:00 UTC an AM signal was visible ontop reducing the SNR. I switched to a dipole configuration at 15:38 UTC which helped a lot to reduce the interference from the long distance, but obviously DREAM went wild and I only got a 100% result after reseting the DRM demodulation.

Looks like RTL is running low power in DRM mode, the signal of the ex mediumwave powerhouse belongs to the weaker ones here, BigL1395 is much stronger.
Even far away AM stations are stronger and causing interference/ dropouts in the late afternoon although I was using my wires in dipole configuration suppressing long distance sources.
When switching back to AM at 17:00 UTC there was full power DRM for a short moment, what a difference!

Either RTL is running real low power <10kW or they are on a different antenna.
Using horizontal polarization here to suppress long distance stations
