Label today was "audio service" mono 11.6 kbps. 35 minutes, but no audio. SNR average 7 dB. Time: 08:11-08:46 UTC.

Not bad, obviously they are using a low cost audio feed.

I felt that the Trincomalee signal on 12095 is sounding low and weak
perhaps they need to increase the audio level by say 2dbm or so so that it sounds better. The signal is obviously strong in India.

@Sarma:
Our ministry does not give DW enough money, so they have to save wherever they can. The audio is only up to 5kHz with low dynamic range, so perhaps they are using a telefone line or similar with high tech audio coding to feed the transmitter. :confused:
I receive of 12095 tKhz his morning DRM signal from DW Sri Lanka, only screen no audio many fading :
