View Full Version : 9535 kHz SNR Tiganesti E2
Hi all.
New DRM station on 9535Mhz Radio Romania International. I have very strong QRM from jamming station on 9540Khz. So log is not so good.

Hi all..
SORRY very problem from AM on 9530 and 9540.
I listen to program over AM transmitter on 11735Khz . This is totaly clear cannel, so please switch over DRM to 11735. Thanks Sixten
Hi all.
Better signal her this evning. Problem is not DRM TX in SNR ,big problem is strong splatter from VOA on 9530 and Kina on 9540 . If DRM is 44dbuV so is AM station 84dbuV . See picture of input spectrum .
Hi all.
Low signal stringth and AM splatter first 20min. but 1722 UTC propagtion go up and signal stringth up to S9+20db in QSB so now better reciption .:) :) :)
Hi all.
Very bad propagition today and fading from 34 to 74 dbuV. And strong splatter from 9540 AM
Hi all.
Very strong signal stringth this evning. Only dropouts in down fading so AM spaltter from 9540 give problem. :) :) :) :)
Up to 74dbuV !!!!
Hi all.
Sorry very bad propagation this evning but strong signal in max fading.
Hi all.
Strong signal today but very splatter problem from strong AM on 9540 Khz

Problems with AM interference at + and - 5 kHz.
Audio source is obviously for AM, so low quality.
Nice to see feedback to Sixten directly! :)
I attached a little zipped mp3 recording of the interfering AM station on 9540 kHz.
This station is really wide, at least +/- 8 kHz.
Hi all.
Very bad propagtion this evning. And AM splatter problem.
Not the best result here either.

Not good here tonight, telefone audio and 21 kbps.
Seems nobody can handle the modulator to adjust the bitrate or change the message text.
Hi all.
This freq. is not useful for DRM . And TX stop after 10min.
Hi all.
Reciption this evning was best of all day. Strong signal and only AM from CRI on 9540 Khz . AM on 9530 Khz is close down. And I switch over to my LW on 50m , this antenna restrain signal from this direction with -10db is was better for DRM .Decoded Audio 95% ok . :)
Problematic frequency with a terrible adjacent splatter channel that spoiled all the fun...

Hi all,
I didn't expect a better result with the presence of these strong splatters. Who is going to listen to?
Bad frequency choice for my area (?), two strong AM TXs on +/- 5kHz. See the plot and the screen shot of the frequency spectra after DRM TX sign off.
Hi all.
Better propagation for DRM on this freq. this evning.

To the end problems with a strong AM station on 9540 kHz.

Basically a good 25dB SNR signal with low audio quality, but often no reception possible due to interference from Radio Bejing 5 kHz up in AM with +/- 8kHz modulation.
Hi,
A very short (!) reception, 2 minutes, then the station left the air @ 17:57 UTC.
Excellent signal, but only the left audio channel was used?
Nice txt msg:
Please send reception reports of this test transmission to c.hoerlle@tsb-ag.de
Best regards to Sixten in Sweden and thanks for the reports!
Hi all.
Strong signal but deep fading down so splatter from 9540 give drop outs.
Hi,
Today a slightly longer report, but with very bad result. AM interfernce from + 5 kHz.
Still only one audio channel? Do they never listen to their own broadcasts?
Time: 17:07-17:25 UTC.
Hi all.
Good signal in start but 1730 total balckout of propagatin.

Last 10min transmission log.
Good signal sometimes fading causes audio drops
PS program ID to be adjusted!

12 min log from Rome. Good signal but no audio due to an intereference on 9540 (probably China)..
program ID still to be adjusted

30 min log from Rome;
at the end some interference at 9540 decreased performance.
Program ID still not compliant with HFCC
Another log from Romania today. Good reception.
