TDF Issoudun to India

There will be special DRM transmissions from TDF / Issoudun to India from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 February 2009 using the following parameters:


DRM Power = 150 kW,
Frequency = 21620 kHz,
Azimuth = 80°,
Antenna = Alliss 4/4
Time = 08.30-13.00 UTC

on Wednesday 25 February 09 :
F = 17570 kHz from 0830 to 11.59 UTC
F = 15530 kHz from 1200 to 13.00 UTC

DRM Parameters:
Mode B,
BW = 10 kHz
MSC : 16 QAM
CR = 0.62
Audio bit-rate ~ 14 kbits/sec,
Audio Encoding = AAC, no SBR,
Depending on reception results, these parameters could be adjusted.
TDF would be pleased to receive DRM reports from India and other parts
of the world, please also post results here.

I received this transmission today. The signal was good up to 42 dBuV with co-channel QRM not affecting too much. The path closed at about 10:28.

...Well, the signal came back with the co-existed QRM. The QRM was much lower this time so the decoding was not affected. I got an almost perfect result for about 30 mins this time.

Hi all,

The signal was good but hardly reached 40 dBuV. All decoding problems caused by the strong splatters of the AM TX on the adjacent channel. I got a result for 60 mins with SQ > 98.00%.
