RDPi (Portugal) will start broadcasting in DRM via Sines on January 31st 2009.

Saturdays & Sundays only
0930-1100 UTC
9815 kHz
Target: Central Europe

Hi all

RDP Internacional, the Portuguese external service, start today an experimental DRM , all Saturday and Sunday beamed to Central Europe.

Nice music, good signal but completly wrong configuration (Deutsche Welle, English, Information, Germany).

Hi All

Some signs of the signal here in NZ, but they don't stand much of a chance here due to a massive signal on 9810 kHz from CNR China Business Radio. Now if only that were a DRM signal I could get some perfect reception!

The signal was about 30 dBuV affected by QRM on 9820 kHz, IR a bit chaotic. Wrong label...

Good results here too, same two dips as Andreas mentioned (plus an additional one).

It seemed good here as the signal was strong on my ATS 909, but local interferences with multiple harmonics destroyed the reception, audible but that's all, not worth listening.

Deutsche Welle at start-up, a minute or so later the label changed to RDP Portugal in Portuguese, social affairs. The rest was unattended. If you would omit the first couple of minutes, the rest would have been 100% perfect.

Strong signal for 9815 from Sines here in southern Sweden, between 3 and 4 reception bars on my Technisat.
(RTL didn't even continue it's usual 30 minutes after the religious broadcast this morning on 6095)

Edit: The distance is wrong, transmission is from Sines, not from Moosbrunn.

On the 25th December 2010 I managed to get the label and a few broken words from RDP. Unfortunately, there is a large plasma TV in the house, which produces a terrible amount of QRM and noise all over the SW bands (not to mention LW and MW).
