BBC & DW on 13810 KHz from Sines

This QRG remain the same, and 13810KHz will be on air. from 8:03 and up to 14:00 UTC.

4 hours and 41 minutes of almost perfect reception. The only problem was a weaker signal around 0940 UTC. The other blips in the log was caused by a 450 MHz TX on my work bench. :rolleyes:

Good signal here on this QRG (worse on the other frequency). But neither EPG nor Journaline data can be decoded. :-(

sorry, seems there is currently a compatibility problem with this service and the journaline decoder in DRMSWR 2.0.38, in the meantime you should be able to get the dataservice using DRMSWR 2.0.34 or Dream.

Due the maintenance works in the courtain antenna, that we normally work in 13810, we are using a Log Periodic antenna after about 11:00. This is why the signal drop after 11:00.

This is the change from a 8 dipoles courtain antenna to a vertical Log Periodic antenna.
We are in big maintenance works in our courtain antenna (keep in mind that we are just closed with the Atlantic Ocean) And we need change the antenna a lot.
The LP antenna is a reserve, but is realy a bad antenna. Be pacient more few days,and 13810 back to normal.

Yesturday we was changed the power tube of the transmitter that are runing on this QRG. After a new tuning I have able to improve the SNR on the monitor receiver in about 3 dBs.(before was about 36/37 dBs, now are 39/40 dBs) Can you see any improvement in this QRG?
Due the low solar activity, maybe the propagation are not in ideal conditions, to see any change. We have again 0 SSN, but anyway some solar activity remain in backgroun on the Sun surface. Its seems on the Estern limb of the Sun in stereo behind image, some activity happen, and maybe in the next 10/15 days we will have again a good number of SS.
