Hi all
From tomorrow, DW - Sines station, will be on air, sending DW /BBC DRM programs, on 6130 KHz, from 7:00 to 7:59 UTC.

Perfect reception here with Dream. But if you try to listen with the Morphy Richards DRM radio, you're in for a surprise: As soon as it locks up to the service, it crashes. Blue screen and the Morphy automatically switches itself off. Grrr. :confused:

Has to do with the max numer of frequencies it can store in its memory.
Remove all stations from memory, and it works fine again (I hope)

Thanks for the tip, it worked, but I lost ALL my stations, including the most exotic catches. :mad:

Great reception with DWT, SNR up to 27 db, good quality on 16,8 kbps, but an error message like this is in Journaline.

Perfect reception here. Max SNR was around 37 dB here. By the way, I got a similar error as Ager with the DRM Software Radio.

Keep in minde that the beam is out of your location. Anyway, you are always good results. Congratulations for you receiver setup. On this QRG and in 9610 KHz, we are send to 45º from Portugal. This is beamed to North and central Europe. At 13810 KHz and 13590 KHz, we are beamed to North Europe at 30º from Portugal.

Thanks for the info, I'm aware about that, but in the past when some transmissions beamed to C+SE Europe I had been gotten much better results.

Same problems in the audio at the same time on 5.990 MHz. I cannot explain the other dips, perhaps static interference.

Started with the receiver running on AC, then I switched back to a stabilised DC power supply. The decoding was perfect, but note the difference in SNR :eek:

The low SNR was caused by the receiver's AGC setting. One break was caused by the PC:s AV automatic virus definitions update, which is no longer possible to control manually, so all running applications stop for a moment. :mad:
I can't explain the other dips.

Propagation this morning was very good , log start from active antenna and over to 2x10m INV.V tuned with 600 Ohms feeder and pararell filter.
Same signal stringth S9+20db no diff. small diff. in SNR .
Same trend in doppler ,from both antenna. :) :)
