CVC started broadcasting yesterday from Darwin to China:
06:30 – 09:00 UTC 17660kHz
We would be particularly interested to hear from anyone in or around China, but any reports would be valuable to our team in Darwin.
Thanks,
James

Strong and stable signal, maintain a steady S9 to S9+10dB strength.
Considering my receiver is a 30 year old piece of antique and heavy thunder nearby, I think this is not bad at all.
BTW, did the staff fall asleep during the course of transmission? Audio feed only connected at the last moment!
This is the screen capture for the Impulse Response.Good channel profile although sometimes quite severe Doppler effect(up to 1.1Hz) , they might try Robust Mode A, and add other data service as well.
PS:Can they shift the schedule to night time,'cause this timing is so inconvenient for the majority of listeners (02:30-05:00 PM local time).
A faint signal around 07:20 UTC here in Switzerland, but heavy splatter from CRI on 17.650 MHz does not help either.
Immaculate decoding and boring logging process!
Rock-solid reception.:D
But what's wrong with with their sound engineer:audio levels vary so dramatically for different program.
A faint signal around 07:25 UTC here in Switzerland, but the usual heavy wide band splatter from CRI in Chinese on 17.650 MHz does not help at all.

The signal has no name of station(SDC) and
no audio(MSC) for 98mins until 08:08 utc from bigining,

I could see the signal here before 7 UTC, but there was (probably) a US propaganda TX in English aiming to Sudan in AM on the same frequency.
The co-channel QRM stopped just when the splatter station CRI fired up just minutes before 7 UTC making all efforts useless to continue trying...

I'm afraid this service is on hold at present: I hope we can give it a permanent place in the schedule soon (and at a more practical time as zfyoung pointed out!) but for the time being we have to focus our capacity on our analogue services.
Thank you all for your feedback over the past few weeks. The experience we have gained has been invaluable, and the results have been encouraging.
