Hi all,

First result on this frequency. Too much fading but a quite good result (SQ:98.27%).

Perfect results here in the northwest of germany. 100% audio and a average SNR of 30.49dB. :cool:

TX SNR in Kvitsoy seems t be limited to about 33-35 dB?

SQ = 99.98% for 24 mins. The signal level was ~40dBuV.

no mention of DRM in frequency announcement at the beginning of the transmission :(

Problems:
Transmission was switched off at 16:30 UTC although the schedule tells it is until 17:00 UTC.
There was strong AM interference from 5 kHz down.
Kvitsoy is using a very robust transmission mode, but the result is disappointing:
The audio sounds bad and is only up to 5 kHz.

Not too bad: RRI from Kvitsoy with good audio-quality. But 30 minutes only... Nice to catch some regional pop music.


BTW: Of course the configuration was not the same as "BNR Digital" uses. This is a mistake in the PNG file.

First time for me as usable DRM from Kvistoy in my position.

Very strong and stablie. Only small dropouts for splatter from AM on 7455.

A lame laptop, plus that SoDiRa causes the CPU to work 100% so that I can't enjoy the contents... Grrr... :mad:

I'm considering starting up the Kchibo KK-DRM 01 nstead! :D

Transmitter problems today.
They tried to get it on air for about 8 minutes, but the signal looked terribly wide.
Good decision to stay off.

Transmitter problems again
Finally they started late after several tuning and restarts.
The audio was switched off too early and tests followed for some more minutes.
Hope nothing serious and that it gets better.

Not much luck in regard to reception, but what I heard sounded MUCH better than the 9.495 MHz transmission. The audio level was a bit on the low side.
