VoR english language programme, transmission for Asia but also some bits audible in Europe. Is the service label minimized that much or is it cyrillic?

Propagation was worse today. ID changed and after 05:43 UTC a strong FSK signal blocked everything.

This seems to be a difficult one.

Frequency was blocked again by an fsk signal on 15737 kHz for the last 15 minutes.
Very weak and unstable signal. They should use lower bit rate if possible, otherwise NO fun at all with constant drop-outs.

At 05:52UTC a carrier of an F1 teletype signal appeared on 15737kHz, can be heard often there. The ID is switched off now, content was a russian language training course.
Just a short log, too many drop-outs, I really wonder what their target zone is, since this signal is highly unstable.
Some moments of deep fading:mad: .
The big drop-out as indicated by the green line is due to my fault:
I switched frequency to check the DW programme on 17525kHz .
No comment, bad as usual.
Still low SNR. Fortunately, stable enough for a more relaxed listening experience.
PS: My fault: the frequency in the log should be 15735Khz.
Very mixed results on day to day basis.
As unpredictable as usual.
And another one, see it yourself.
I wish they could reschedule the programme to night time DRM transmission.
Maybe due to winter condition, my log reports see some improvement lately.
Signal strength not strong enough for a pleasant AM listening, but enough for a enjoyable DRM.:D
Very Good. :D Not sure what caused the short drop-out 'cause it comes at short notice.
Highly unstable,They must change their signal configuration and try to use Robust Mode A and MSC 16QAM !
BTW:their email address in the text messages is not valid, why!!!
As I've said, not good at all.
Far from perfect, and it seems nobody cares about that.
As always, this transmission suffers from weak flat fading from time to time.
I would rather prefer low quality HVXC than this incessant drop-in drop-outs.
Not much luck with this TX. The log is just 15 minutes with 5.6% CDA.
Due to a bug somewhere (the character code of this NEC computer???) my log displays my longitude as "38E" instead of "138E", so the distance to the TX is wrong. It should be 1766 km.
Much better than the summer time. Except for some minor drop-outs, this transmission is quite stable.
Week at times, the two major drop-outs are due to my fault: I adjusted antenna position.
Mixed results. The designers of DRM standard under-estimate the capricious nature of shortwave propagation.
This weak TX always comes with a lot of Fading here in Japan. And the label in SoDiRa is also "---". The fact that my pre-selector for the Elektor becomes an oscillator at 15 MHz when tuned to peak doesn't help either . . .
A very short log.
Hi Simone and all,
I am definitely out of the target area for this TX. They transmit 213° and I am directly to the South aprox. 1700 km away from it. Here is a bad log from this late morning (in Japan).
I shot screen dumps, but have not much editing s/w with me, so a Title and a Technical dump follow in the next reply below.
Like I said before, 15 MHz is not a favourable band for me here, so it did not get any better than this. 17,46 kbps, EEP and AAC+ in Mono. The label still reads " --- ", Mode B, 4/64, protection 0/0, Audio:1, Data:0.
15735 kHz, 0357 UTC on the 14th December 2010 in Japan. The label has changed from "---" last year to "Telefunken". This log was free from plasma TV QRM. The Label says "Russian". There is no ID. 16.58 kbps, EEP, AAC+, Mono. B/10 kHz, 2s, 4 QAM/64 QAM, P0/0, Aud. 1/ Data 0 and no (?) Received time - date.
The label says "Russian" even after 04 UTC when the schedule says "English" (but just at 0406 UTC I heard a few broken words in English). At 0409 UTC I set Dream to "First Peak" in Time Sync Tracking, which improved the Audio Decoding a bit. I saw a text message: E-mails to "nikitenko@dvrc.ru". There was quite strong QSB around 0415 UTC. However, the signal was very weak every day her in Shizuoka City.

There was a fsk signal on frequency most of the time avoiding better results:
