Hi all.

I moved over the band yesterday evening and at 1545 to 1600UTC on a freq. of 15715Khz, this picture appeared on my monitor.

Only the words "Test of new DRM ", the station switched off at 1600UTC.

Look at my picture. S meter peaked S8 in my QTH 40Km N of Stockholm .

DW Transmission today with "high" BR 21.78 kbps and like ever on this channel in Mode A.
I saw this to late , so only 3 Min. Log.:mad:
Reception was very stable with Elektor RX.:)

A perfect result (99.94% CDA) for 56 mins and with a SNR starting from 30 dB and going within the log slowly to about 20 dB.

Signal starts with around 30db SNR and S9 +10db on S-Meter. In the middle log was unattended. To the end deep fading and Signal between S3 and S5. IR was ok.

I wonder why they used QAM16 in Mode A? Normally then bitrate is 18,08 kBit for audio.

Seems they made an error as the transmitter re-synced some seconds after it got on air.
