I have attempted to mod my ICOM 756 pro to receive DRM broadcasts. I inserted a card that works with the 455 kHZ IF and wired power to it. When I connect it to the computer I get nothing but 60 Hz hum. Could this be an isolation issue? If anyone has modified an ICOM 756 pro I would like to make sure I've got the 455 kHZ input tap soldered in the right location. I've found a mod for the ICOM 756 (non Pro version) but the Pro is slightly different. Any help would be appreciated.

It was indeed an isolation problem. I bought a transformer today and the hum disappeared. The audio is crystal clear. I'm listening to CRI on 6080 kHz now.

What SNR can you achieve now? Maybe post some results in the corresponding thread?

Tonight my high was 17 dB and low was about 6 dB. The audio started to cut out once the SNR dropped below about 9 dB.
