View Full Version : 5920 kHz VoR/ DW fromTaldom

Hello to all,

Both a good and a bad news : Voice of Russia -especially in french at 17:00 UT- is totally blocked on its new DRM frequency by an AM station on 5915 kHz. But this station on 5915 is Radio Slovakia International, which is coming back on shortwave after a 7 months-long interruption.

I only think this happens because 5920 DRM had been registered while noone would think that RSI would take back its frequency so quickly. So, I wish for both stations that VoR will move to another QRG soon.

A frequency change is maybe a solution.

Seems I am the lucky guy. However acceptable results during the last hour only - when co-channel interferers on +/- 5 KHz became weaker/shut off.

Take away the interference and it would be a perfect result.
But unfortunately there is interference.

Non satisfying results again. A little better in the 120' when DW is on air.

Too much on- and co-channel interference.

Sorry that couldn’t signal you earlier, that the frequency of VOR daily transmissions on 5920 kHz was changed to 6105 kHz (on air at 19:00-21:00 UTC).
