Today, the 13th, there was no broadcast. CBC Sackville appears to be having some kind of problem; there was an ice storm up and down the east coast, so that may have bearing on the matter. :(

Nothing visible/audible here in Chicago. I'm in a very, very urban environment currently, so RF in the HF range is a little scarce. Propagation is just not good in this particular situation.

I was able to receive TDP for the first time here in Chicago. A very short opening though, but propagation was better. Solar Flux is 71, A index is 7, and the K index is 2.
The temperature today was -3F for the high (-19.5C), and is already -9F/-23C. Staying inside is highly recommended... :eek:

I have to check for interference: the timing on the fade-out of TDP is very suspicious- just like yesterday, but I'll have to make sure I'm at the radio to check for stations to either side or on frequency. There usually isn't anything to interfere, but things may have changed.

Alan - this consistency is very welcome, believe me! When we transition between winter/spring (and fall/winter) propagation always seems to be somewhat better, and that's a good thing.
No interference noted - there might be a carrier on 9805 but it could also be a birdie. Checking on a separate receiver, I couldn't hear a thing, which means that the long fades the last couple of days were just that, fading.
Much better today, only a few big hits, but overall it was quite good listening.

Very good conditions, the signal here was between 32 - 45 dBuV and gave a result of SQ > 99.00% with only some minor dropouts.
Note: When log started the BR was 17 kbps, after a min it changed to 20 kbps.

No, TDP is not broadcasting on 15720 now. After suffering a Dream crash earlier in the day and re-setting everything, my PC somehow decided that TDP was not on 9790 and recorded it as being on 15720. I was watching, and I know it was TDP, so the signal data at least is correct. :confused:
