TDF 6015 kHz from Issoudun

Hi all,
there is a DRM-test right now on 6015 kHz with the label "TDF ISS 11.845".
No audio so far.

Les test de TDF en DRM sur 6015 khz sont complétement interférés depuis environ 11h20 T.U. par un test en AM analogique de VT Merlin.

At 1230 UTC the label is correct: "TDF ISS 6.015" :)

VT Merlin in analogic AM is broadcast for Issoundun.

Comme il s'agit d'essais il y avait des coupures d'éméteur, des passages en analogique (la bande annonce de VT Merlin) etc... ce qui explique la non réception par moment sinon la réception ici était parfaite.

Issoudun now (1430 UTC) with TDPradio. 100% audio, no problems so far.

Not bad at the beginning with the lower bitrate, later 20.9 kbps, param. stereo with many dropouts but also the signal was weaker then.

Hello to all, bonjour,

Very good reception this afternoon here, stable and around 23dB SNR with the laptop working on batteries only. Few SNR/audio crashes due to switching between batteries and AC power on my laptop, and also trying different antennas, so the overall result might be virtually around 100% decoded audio.

All bands are blocked here except BBC on 7320, and very low VoR on 9450 and DW on 15440, so it is a good surprise. TDP programming with only 13kHz audio bandwith, good enough to avoid codec artefacts, I prefer that to more bandwith and distorsion.

Bonne réception d'Issoudun ici en Alsace sur les 49m, c'est l'un des rares émetteurs à passer ici cet après-midi en raison de perturbations sur toutes les bandes (locales ou non). Dans l'attente d'autres tests depuis la Guyane :-)

Signal was not strong but reception would have been a lot better without the carrier on 6090 kHz that was often visible.

At the moment (10:54 UTC), no trace of a DRM signal can be received on 6015 kHz in Munich. Is it propagation conditions or is there no transmission any more?

Just a short Signal status:
Today between 10 am MEZ and 12 MEZ I was able to listen to TDF ISS. The Signal peak on 6015Khz has been 27db and on 5105 approxx 19db. As Is understood!
I was able to listen to that station for about 1 hour without any problems 6015.
Antenna on my side is a Broadband V/H Dipol with an SWR of 1.2 on 6.500Khz!
I realy need to say that this is really a cool Techno radio station and the quality that morning was 100%.
TDF ISS YOU HAVE A NEW FAN! :)

Next Time I will follow up with these Logfile from DRM-Disco soft.
Sorry for that. Next time I will post that file as it is usual here. :)

Hi Simone and all!

Thank you for sending so many reports on our test transmission this week and first "tunings" last week.

May be you need more explainations:

- Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 September, we used 30 kW into an omnidirectionnal antenna (the usual one),

- Wednesday 27 September, we used a 2/2 antenna at 105° to Italy so this was not very good for Belgium and Germany (as you mentioned),

- Thursday 28 September, we used a 2/2 at 60° to Germany; it was good in Germany as far as I know,

- today Friday 29 September, we used the same configuration as on 25 and 26 September (omnidirectionnal antenna).

End of TDF tests on 6015 kHz.

RFI/TDF on air with a special transmission towards Switzerland. I noticed this transmission just after 10 UTC. I listened with the Morphy during my lunchtime break with the collapsed telescopic antenna with perfect reception. Sorry for the bad quality of the Morphy photo.

The signal here is strong and stable, about +63 dBµV into my FRG 7700.

Log added:
A quite good log except for a 40 minutes long period with QRM (?) - I did not check with a 2nd RX. At 13:00 UTC adjacent channel QRM made the decoding impossible.
