Hi all,
Radio World Online has an interesting commentary about the US IBOC system and its shortcomings and how they came about. Read the article here (http://www.rwonline.com/reference-room/commentary/2006.07.19-03_rw_hd_guest_barry_2.shtml). Thanks to radiointel.com for the link.
In the commentary, DRM is mentioned as a possible alternative to IBOC for the US but I doubt that the commercial AM broadcasters in the US will jump on as it would mean that they could no longer be received on current AM receivers.
