DW on 15725 kHz

Someone at DW should complain to KOL Israel about the spurious emissions ±37 kHz from their 15.760 MHz AM carrier!! :mad: :mad: The -37 kHz blanks out the little there is from Sines...

Same trouble this afternoon as yesterday: The spurious emission totally kills the Sines' DRM signal at times when KOL is modulating. :mad: :mad: The log tells it all...

This frequency is still too high for my location. Suddenly the signal becomes very weak resulting in some drop-outs.

Excellent signal from DW this afternoon.
CDA= 99 %, Time= 50 minutes; 12:59-13:49 UTC.

Bad conditions here on the 28th. MUF was far too low for the distance and this frequency. The result was a lot of drop-outs and less than 93% CDA.

Excellent signal from Sines, as usual and DW.
Time: 13:09 - 13:59 (close down). CDA= 99.3 %.

Not at all so here... I can't say what caused this pattern in the log as I was out for some fresh air. It was not very stable when I left around 1305 UT. The signal seemed to have weakened suddenly towards the end. :confused:

Not perfect, but good anyway. The problem is splatter from Romania on 15.700 MHz. That station spreads rubbish +/- 80 kHz around its carrier. :mad:
