Will send a mobile reception report when back home. :D
A Roberts MP40 is supposed to be demonstrated at the digital radio West booth at the fair. Since I didn't have enough time left, I didn't pay them a visit when I was there yesterday, instead I looked at something else, see attachment.
It's a general coverage software-defined receiver and its circuit concept - including a tuned preselector - looks quite nice. The manufacturer's website can be found here (http://www.comsistel.com/Ciao%20Radio.htm).
Unfortunately, reception inside the halls is always very bad due to the roof having a metal structure which seems to screen off RF signals and reception of Deutsche Welle had to be demonstrated using a recorded IF file.
