Dear all, even after an extensive search I couldnīt find hints how to modify the NRD 545 for DRM using the Sat-Schneider mixer. Who has experience modifying the NRD 545 ? Is it worth the effort ?? Even a hint where to get the 455 kHz on the (I guess) CDA-752 DSP module would be helpful,

Hi Roland,

give it a first try without modifying the receiver. Have a look here (http://www.fineware-swl.com/drm.html) and scroll down to "Experimenting with Other Unmodified Receivers".

Roland (as well)

Hi Roland,
you are right: the unmodified NRD 545 works together with DREAM, but the results are very disappointing: I received a few strong stations, but all with interruptions (Iīm located in Frankfurt, using a 20 m long wire as antenna or a magnetic loop (Grahn)). I guess it is because the bandwidth is less than 10 kHz. I expect a more stable situation with modifications, the Sat-Schneider mixer is already ordered
